Artist Statement: I work as a Teaching Artist with the Arkansas Arts Council, Little Rock, Arkansas

Art is very subjective and is left to the conclusion of the onlooker. Art ask the question, "What is the content of this work? What is the artist statement within the painting?" I strive to elicit the viewers response through content, form and various mediums such as: Oils, Watercolor, 2-D Design, Serigraphy, Relief print, Charcoal, 3-D Sculpting and Acrylic Sculpting Paint. I received by MS Rehabilitation Counseling, U of A Fayetteville. My undergrad was at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith where I earned a BA Double Major in Studio Art and Psychology..

I enjoy working with kids ages 6 and up and adults of all ages. By creating an art curriculum for the students a broader knowledge of understanding art and the process of creating the work can evolve. I would welcome the opportunity to work with those interested in learning about and creating art.
